Lucy is putting the finishing touches on three new DVDs. The first two are inspired by her latest pattern, "Venus Rising". In "Knitting Venus 1" you'll find a multitude of high tech (but easy to learn) tips and techniques for the enquiring knitter. Chapters include: Navaho plying, a generous assortment of useful knots, a variety of decreases, how to handle alternatively mounted stitches, slick uses of marker yarn, a slew of sleeve tricks and short rows in the round. In "Venus Rising 2", Lucy has compiled an ecletic mix of skills for the dedicated knitter, including a multitude of uses for waste yarnto hold stitches and create openings in the knit fabric, a close look at scallop edges and the delightful fabrics that can be created with them, a variety of double-start cast-on methods and an overview of the Venus Rising cardigan.

The third DVD, "The Brand New Knitter", is targeted to the "never-held-needles-before knitter-to-be". It includes simple patterns to get started. A great supplement to a Beginning Knitting class!
